BIA Announces Winners of Product of Excellence Awards

Press release from the issuing company

Pittsburgh, PA—July 16, 2007 – The Binding Industries Association (BIA), the world’s largest association for trade binderies, loose-leaf manufacturers, and suppliers to those industries, announced the winners of the annual BIA Product of Excellence Awards. Entries were received from around the world. Companies compete for the coveted title of “Best in Category.” Winning this prestigious award is considered by many to be the highest level of achievement.
Hundreds of entries were part of an amazing array of products placed before the judges this year. The quality of the entries required the judges to be painstakingly critical in their evaluation of the products submitted. As a result, Pacific Bindery Services, American Thermoplastic Company, Seidl’s Bindery, and Vulcan Information Packaging were named the “best of the best.” Having the distinction of being an award winner tells your customers and prospects that your company has a high quality of standards.
All winning pieces will be prominently displayed in industry magazines, will be showcased on websites, and will receive plaques honoring their accomplishments. Winning companies use their triumph to solidify client relationships, grow their business, and enhance their standing in the marketplace.
“For more than three decades, The Product of Excellence Awards has been committed to honoring quality craftsmanship in the binding and loose-leaf industry, helping companies successfully promote their work,” says Robert Windler, President, Diecrafters Inc. and current Chairman of BIA. “The creative pieces that we see each year are so inspiring that we feel compelled to honor them.”
Binderies and loose-leaf manufacturers are already gearing up for next year’s competition. Complete details will be made available soon on www.bindingawards.com.
