Hamilton, Bermuda, November 15, 2007 -- VistaPrint Limited, the leading online supplier of high-quality graphic design services and customized printed products to small businesses and consumers today announced that the company had been named to the 2007 CIO 100 list for the second time. The 20th annual award program recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT).
"While VistaPrint is well known as the leader in the online printing industry, the truth is that our back end technology processes have been instrumental to our success," said Chief Operating Officer Wendy Cebula. "Our talented technology groups have developed cutting edge processes over the years, and we have used those processes to our competitive advantage. The company continues to invest heavily in both our processes and our people, because we believe our evolving technology is critical to sustaining our growth."
"The CIO 100 award recipients serve as industry role models for business and IT excellence," said Abbie Lundberg, editor-in-chief of CIO magazine. "This year's winners demonstrate extraordinary results in a variety of important areas, including business transformation, collaboration, customer innovation and top line contributions."
The 2007 CIO 100 awards were presented at the La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, on August 21 at the conclusion of the ninth annual CIO 100 Symposium and Awards Ceremony. Teams of CIO magazine editors and writers reviewed hundreds of applications in depth, looking for unique practices and substantial results. Once the top 100 honorees were selected, several honorees were chosen to receive an additional special award.
