Vertis Communications Adds Stephen Flood as General Manager of Digit Direct Marketing Operations

Press release from the issuing company

Baltimore (Nov. 5, 2007) - Vertis Communications announced today that Stephen Flood joins the company as general manager of digital direct marketing operations for locations in Monroe Township, N.J., and Irvine, Calif.  A seasoned professional with 28 years experience in the industry, Flood will lead the digital direct marketing arm of Vertis.
"To meet the growing requests for digital production and short-run direct marketing, it was important to bring an experienced leader like Steve to the company," said Dave Colatriano, senior vice president and general manager of direct marketing at Vertis.  "Steve will focus our resources and fine-tune our strategies to allow for our personalized, quick-turn, and high quality direct mail."
Vertis is positioned at the forefront of variable data printing, and Flood will help the company continue to deliver large scale digital programs as well as highly complex data driven marketing programs to top level clients.
Prior to joining Vertis, Flood was co-founder and chief operating officer at Cirqit, Inc., an international software and solutions company focused on printing and procurement market segments.  At Cirqit, Steve helped generate more than $20 million in new sales, oversaw operations and procurement of printed goods and services, and managed budget and staffing for the entire company. Before his time at Cirqit, Flood was senior vice president of operations for the LP Thebault Company, where he managed day-to-day operations of the then $20 million digital imaging company.
Flood is a member of the New Jersey Institute of Technology and has conducted seminars on developing emerging markets.
