June 22, 2007 -- Media Consultants, a creative direct marketing firm located in Lyndhurst, NJ, has won two national accolades in the 2007 Print Excellence and Knowledge Awards, or PEAK Awards from the DMIA.
Media Consultants was a Grand Winner at the PEAK Awards in 2006. This announcement closely follows attaining the Graphic Arts Associations Neographics Best-in-Category – Variable Data award.
The PEAK Awards, sponsored by Print Solutions Magazine, is in its 3rd annual year of recognizing companies not just for their graphic and creative ability, but also for solving client problems and improving clients’ businesses.
With 39 available categories and a record number of entries, Media Consultants was the Grand Winner for Direct Mail – Lead/Acquisition and also took home an Award of Excellence for Digital Print – Variable Data Printing, Business-to-Business.
The award winning piece was the Deluxe Aquarium Mailer. It consists of a treasure chest envelope that has sunk into a colorful coral reef and is surrounded by 4 different shaped colorful fish. Personalized copy is on the front and back of each of the pieces. Inside the envelope is a gold coin pochette, or pocket-style invitation, with two more fish, a bookmark, a business card, a business reply card and a chocolate filled gold coin. Again, all pieces have personalized and versioned copy.
This digitally imaged mail piece was created using patented technology developed by Harvey Hirsch, president and creative director of Media Consultants. The technology allows for personalization, versioning as well as on-demand digital printing in lots of 20 to ten thousand for any of over 60 different shaped postcards or 3-dimensional mail.
