Four51-powered Kodak MarketMover Network brings printers new business beyond printing

Press release from the issuing company

MINNEAPOLIS — June 18, 2007 — The Kodak MarketMover Network, which matches marketing managers and print buyers with the best available resources to get jobs printed efficiently and effectively, is helping printers earn revenue for services well beyond traditional printing and distribution.

The Kodak MarketMover Network is composed of Kodak printers managing workflow and winning new business through Four51’s e-commerce technology, a Web-to-print platform and network that connects printers, distributors and buyers around the world. To date, the Kodak MarketMover Network has connected 4,880 transacting users, and it hosts 4,391 static and variable products ranging from business cards to backstage passes.

Printing Services of Greensboro, a Kodak MarketMover Network printer in Greensboro, N.C., has seen $27,000 in new business from the KMN since joining in February. That is additional revenue earned from providing marketing consulting for PSG’s customers, with strategies and ideas enabled by the Four51 platform.

“The Kodak MarketMover Network lets us take a macro view of graphic communications needs rather than the standard bidding and quoting on a per-job basis,” said Norman Brame, vice president of development and operations at PSG. “Now we can give our customers and prospects value that other traditional printers can’t. We can give the customer the print partnership they really want and secure their built-in ordering loyalty.”

Brame talks in detail about PSG’s early success and new business opportunities from the KMN in a recent Salon Four51 webcast, which is available at http://tinyurl.com/2h4z7s.

“Given the fantastic results we’re seeing already, we know the Kodak MarketMover Network will only continue to grow and expand,” said Gary Nemcek, president of Four51’s Networks Group, which manages the company’s work on the MarketMover Network.
