Value Priced Solutions for Making Custom Hard Cover Books

Press release from the issuing company

Jacksonville, FL – August 24, 2007.  There is growing demand for custom photo books, wedding accessory books, life events, sport team books, and proposals. Customized pre-made hard cases usually have a minimum order quantity, lock you into pre-determined formats, and are expensive.  At Graph Expo, ExactBind will be demonstrating a system that enables anyone to make a custom hard cover, miniature to outsize, in about one minute! The covers can be printed like a coffee table book, or you can use leather, leatherette, suede, or book cloth.  The average cost per cover including labor is about $3.50.
The "PBS Hard Cover Master" is tiltable to a comfortable working angle, has integral suction fans to keep the cover material in place, and has a Patented registration head for precise board and spine registration.  The system also includes an edge turning system.  The complete system is value priced at $1,650. To make it easy, ExactBind offers a complete line of hard cover making supplies. New printable cover sheets are micron coated for laser, ink-jet and offset printing processes.  The sheets have pressure sensitive adhesive with a release liner.   End papers are available in white or black and have good opacity, aggressive PSA, and high tensile strength.
"The market for on-demand and short-run books is estimated at over $25B per year. The Hard Cover Master combined with the award winning PBS-6000 binder produces retail-quality hard cover books," said Frank Millis, President of ExactBind Corporation. This is a significant development for graphic professionals, printers, binderies, schools, and photographers.  The ExactBind dealer network supports over 1,000 customers in North America.  The network is committed to offering value priced heavy duty products that produce high quality books.
