InnerWorkings Will Celebrate First Anniversary of IPO

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO–August 14, 2007 -- InnerWorkings, Inc., a leading provider of print procurement solutions, will celebrate the one-year anniversary of its initial public offering by opening The NASDAQ Stock Market in New York City on August 16, 2007.
“On behalf of our employees, our management team and our Board of Directors, InnerWorkings is honored to have been asked by NASDAQ to celebrate our one-year anniversary as a public company,” stated Steve Zuccarini, Chief Executive Officer of InnerWorkings, who along with Jeff Singer of NASDAQ will preside over the opening bell at 9:30 am Eastern Time on August 16, 2007. “Since our company was founded more than five years ago, we have experienced triple-digit growth as we’ve worked to transform the way printed material is purchased and managed in corporate America.”
Since going public, InnerWorkings has reported four consecutive quarters of record results:
- Trailing twelve-month revenue through June 30, 2007 increased 122% to $229.2 million, while operating income increased 156% to $18.1 million during the same period.
- Number of enterprise accounts increased 30 percent to 105.
- Number of employees nearly doubled to 370.
The company has also considerably strengthened its geographic presence in the United States through organic growth and acquisitions on the West Coast and in the mid-Atlantic region.
“InnerWorkings began as a solution for middle-market companies and our services offering has evolved and is now resonating with Fortune 1000 companies as well,” continued Zuccarini. “We are encouraged by the growth potential and opportunity available to us in this large and fragmented industry.”
