XMPie Announces Users' Group Conference

Press release from the issuing company

NEW YORK, Jan. 28, 2008 — The XMPie Users' Group today announced it will hold its second annual XMPie Users' Group Conference at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas beginning Feb. 6, 2008.

The two-day event incorporates a comprehensive program of activities and open discussion forums encompassing both a technology-oriented curriculum and a marketing and business development track.  Designed as an interactive forum, XMPie staff and XMPie users will discuss the latest Variable Data Printing and Cross Media technology, trends and best practices. The conference will be preceded by a choice of in-depth technical tutorials targeted at either design or programming activities.

Adobe, EFI, HP, InfoTrends, Kodak, PB Systems, Press-sense, Tecra and Xerox are event sponsors.

"The 2007 Users' Group Conference was a great success, educating more than 170 members from 90 companies," said Jacob Aizikowitz, president of XMPie and Users' Group board member. "The 2008 event promises to build on that success by being a forum for XMPie leaders and users to exchange ideas, give and receive feedback, chart future direction and enable constructive ongoing interaction."

Members will have the opportunity to learn different strategies for leveraging XMPie technology through case studies and best practices presented by Users' Group members from a variety of backgrounds, disciplines and market segments.  They will also be able to provide XMPie developers with direct feedback, get early exposure to new product plans and network with their peers during this highly interactive event. Industry experts will be in attendance to share their perspectives on the rapidly evolving world of Cross Media marketing.

"Year after year, we fill the conference with innovative sessions that provide attendees with ideas they can immediately apply in their businesses," said Stefan Augusston, XMPie Users' Group president. "This year, in response to user feedback, we have added technical tutorials and broken technical tracks into two segments, with a design focus or a programming focus."

The Users' Group membership base continues to grow at an impressive rate since it was launched over a year ago, with more than 100 member companies and 400+ online forum participants.
