Sakurai – Graph Expo '07
"Sakurai is the first and only press manufacturer to offer a press series which reflects the original North American size, built by North American press manufacturers, before all manufacturing went offshore in the 70's. Most sheets that run on 16-page format presses today are 25" x 38" and this new size was designed with that in mind. Staying true to Sakurai's tradition of supplying fully automated - yet economically priced presses, the new Model 96 will be well received by printers facing the extremely competitive market for print", Bence said.
Sakurai will feature its fully automated, 20" X 26" four color with coater at Graph Expo '07. First introduced to the North American market at Print '05, the space saving 466SDC runs at 16,000 IPH. Standard features include: Automatic perfecting changeover; Automatic plate changers; Automatic blanket and roller washers; Sakurai Auto Set – sheet preset device; Double Diameter Impression and Transfer Cylinders and more. The 466SDC is designed for high speed production applications where a wide variety of substrates are required. The press is capable of printing light weight papers as well as 24 point board. The 466 is also available as a convertible perfector.
