Cabinet NG Unveils New Import Feature For Its Document Management Solution

Press release from the issuing company

Huntsville, Alabama, May 14, 2007 – Cabinet NG today announced a new custom import feature that extends the reach of CNG-SAFE (Shared Access Filing Environment) by automatically processing electronic data feeds from key suppliers. The new import feature enables companies to automatically import billing data and document images from suppliers into their QuickBooks® accounting system, further streamlining accounting transaction entry among trading partners. CNG-SAFE is the preeminent automated document management and workflow solution for small enterprises. In addition, Cabinet NG also announced that Granite Ridge Builders, the largest custom home builder in Fort Wayne, IN and the surrounding area, is now using the new import feature to facilitate smooth and error-free transactions with its key supplier, Home Lumber. Using Cabinet NG's import, Granite Ridge is able to integrate billing between disparate accounting systems resulting in less errors and accelerates invoicing. Both Granite Ridge and Home Lumber plan on applying the import feature with other business partners. In 2005 Granite Ridge began using Cabinet NG’s CNG-Books, an award winning integrated document management solution for Intuit's (NASDAQ: INTU) QuickBooks®. As a result, the company transformed paper-centric workflows across its marketing, construction and accounting departments into an automated and centralized electronic document management process. “Cabinet NG is the name we trust in document management and to make our company's operations run more efficiently and effectively," said Tony Reincke, President of Granite Ridge. ”In the construction business, economic conditions are always changing. The only thing you can control is overhead, and Cabinet NG is continually innovating to save us money, most recently by helping us integrate our billing processes with one of our biggest suppliers Home Lumber.” Commenting on the overall impact of document management process streamlined by Cabinet NG, Aline Urschel, Granite Ridge Builders Construction Accountant, said, “The visual impact of being able to see invoices scanned into our Cabinet NG electronic document management system has been immensely effective in multiple ways. This procedure mimics our old paper-based processes, and the ability to retain images of invoices has significantly cut back on waste due to double paying and other clerical errors. What was taking an average of 2 minutes per invoice to enter now takes only seconds.” By extending the benefits of CNG-SAFE to key supplier Home Lumber, Granite Ridge gains the streamlined accounting efficiencies typically enjoyed by large corporate EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems. Andrew Bailey, President of Cabinet NG said, "Granite Ridge is a valued customer, and we are excited to expand our relationship and continue working with their team to deliver innovative, proven document management solutions. Granite Ridge will benefit from a unified document management system that supports rules-based streamlined workflows and gets the correct information into the right hands, at the right time."
