Rochester Software Associates Recognized as Xerox Software Partner of the Year
Press release from the issuing company
Rochester, NY, March 19, 2007 – Rochester Software Associates, Inc. (RSA) is proud to have received Xerox’s Software Partner of the Year award for RSA’s Workflow Automation solutions for a record-setting sixth time! Xerox gathered their top partners for a conference in Rochester to congratulate them on another year of success, and look forward to the year ahead. Rochester Software Associates was singled out for their Enterprise Workflow System solutions, including QDirect, RSA’s Enterprise Output Manager.
RSA’s Enterprise Workflow System is a collection of software solutions that automate data center and print on demand/CRD workflow from submission through production. QDirect is a core component of RSA’s Enterprise Workflow System, and acts as the traffic cop for an entire Enterprise’s output. All documents flow through QDirect, regardless of their data stream, enabling complete and accurate accounting for an entire enterprise’s print production. Additionally, jobs can be manipulated as they enter and leave QDirect. Legacy data streams can be transformed to PostScript, banner pages can be generated and jobs can be routed and split as necessary. But, QDirect’s greatest feature is its ability to be customized to meet any Enterprise’s workflow. Given QDirect’s long history, odds are good that whatever customization a customer needs, RSA has already done it and that translates to a faster, more affordable, and more reliable installation.
WebCRD, RSA’s enterprise web submission and production management module, is another core component of the Enterprise Workflow System. As the web portal to the print center, WebCRD enables users to easily order catalog items, reprints or submit new jobs. The print center enjoys the extensive automation features that increase their productivity and enable printing direct to any printer with complete electronic job ticketing. Plus, IT departments appreciate that WebCRD fully integrates with corporate authentication and security standards.
“For more than 14 years, RSA and our corporate neighbor Xerox have worked together to solve the workflow needs of literally thousands of enterprises,” observed Tim Kelly, RSA’s Senior Vice President. “Xerox knows they can rely on RSA and vice-versa. RSA’s proven success in Legacy Data Stream Transform, Enterprise Output Management, and Web Submission ensures more success going forward. On behalf of our team of Business Development Managers, dedicated exclusively to Xerox, and our development and support staff who keep turning out solutions that make Xerox printers more productive, I am proud to accept this honor.”
“RSA has consistently been a strong Xerox partner,” said Mike Salfity, Xerox’s Vice President & General Manager Xerox Workflow Business Unit. “They have a reputation for solid solutions and outstanding customer support. We look forward to continuing and expanding our mutually beneficial relationship.”
“RSA is proud to contribute to and share in Xerox’s success,” noted Todd Bernhard, Director of Marketing at RSA. “We look forward to many more years of cooperation with Xerox, and more Software Partner of the Year awards as well!”
