Agfa Graphics Launches Affordable CtP System for B1 Format

Mortsel, Belgium — 16 March 2007 — Agfa Graphics today launched :Acento LF, an affordable thermal CtP system for the many offset printers looking to convert to digital platemaking, especially in emerging markets.
:Acento LF brings the full benefits of digital platemaking at an entry-level investment cost, with reliable platemaking quality thanks to a new imaging head with an 84-channel laser diode, and dependable throughput thanks to simplified mechanical design. It offers imaging speeds up to 11 plates per hour for plates sizes ranging from 450x370 mm to 1060x820 mm (B1 or 8 up format). :Acento LF has semi-automatic plate loading and manual unloading to save further cost and reduce floor space requirements.

:Acento LF wil be available in May 2007.
