Three Pageflex Customers win PODi Best Practice Awards for Digital Printing and Variable Data

Feb. 15, 2007-- Bitstream Inc., the leading provider of variable data and Web-to-print software for personalized marketing, announced today that three of its customers have been selected as winners in the annual PODi Best Practices Awards. Winners were announced during the PODi Application Forum held this week in Anaheim, California.
PODi Best Practices Awards are held annually and recognize outstanding and innovative digital print applications. One award winner was named in each of the following five categories: Business-to-Business, Business-to-Consumer, Web-to-Print, Relevant Marketing, and People's Choice.
Pageflex customers won in four of the five categories. These winners are:
-- Metzgers Printing + Mailing was honored in the "Business-to-Consumer" category for work they did for Tiffin University. Metzger's uses Pageflex Storefront to create a highly customized admissions brochure designed to increase enrollment. The brochure helped Tiffin University to increase enrollment in their graduate degree programs by 20% over the previous year and enrollment in their undergraduate program increased by 50%.
In addition, Metzgers also won the "People's Choice Award." This award, which is new this year, is chosen by attendees at the PODi Application Forum who vote of their favorite campaign.
-- Royal Impressions in the "Business-to-Business" category for a highly-relevant customized sales booklet they produce for Disney Destinations' five resorts. The project utilizes document customization technology from Pageflex. As a result of the project, bookings are up, prospects are happy to get what they need, and printing and storage costs for collateral were cut in
-- Glasgow Solicitors Property Centre (GSPC) was the winner in the "Web-to-Print" category for a customized collateral campaign that utilizes Pageflex's online design and editing capability. The campaign cut costs while giving GSPC member firms increased marketing control.
Another Pageflex customer, International Center for Entrepreneurial Development, was honored with a Honorable Mention Award for a Web-to-print and Personalized mailing project they created for their Kwik Kopy franchises.
