Kodak to Highlight Opportunities in Data Driven Applications at Graphics of the Americas/XPLOR

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 14 -- Kodak will help attendees understand the business opportunities in data driven applications at Graphics of the Americas/Xplor 2007 International Exhibition and Conferences at the Miami Beach Conference Center, Feb. 28–March 4. Using a talk show format, Kodak experts and industry partners will be interviewed at Kodak’s booth (1104) on important trends and emerging applications for TransPromo and color variable data printing. Sessions include Turning Statements into Sassy Sales Tools, Create Thrilling Customer Communication in High Quality Color, Workflow for All Environments, KODAK MARKETMOVER Network Helps you Grow!, and One Kodak, which covers Kodak’s newest solutions and how they work together to help customers capitalize on data driven applications. Each session lasts 20 minutes. “Graphics of the Americas/Xplor 2007 provide an excellent opportunity for attendees to examine how digital and offset technology work together to grow a business,” said Jeff Hayzlett, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “Kodak’s booth will focus on education with an innovative approach to presentations that emphasize the power of data driven applications that use TransPromo and color variable data techniques. We want attendees to learn how the data they already have and KODAK solutions such as workflow, and digital printing, can help grow their bottom line.” Away from booth 1104, Kodak subject matter experts will participate in the following Graphics of the Americas/Xplor 2007 educational courses and seminars: - Ron Gilboa, Worldwide Director, Product Marketing, Kodak – Joint Technology Council’s opening panel on March 1, 4 p.m.–6 p.m. - Terry Wozniak, Manager, Color Solutions, Kodak – “Building Blocks of Color” – Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2 p.m.–6 p.m. and “AFP Consortium: Ask the Architects” – Saturday, March 3, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. - Don Scrima, Sales Support Engineer, Kodak – “Advanced Function Printing” – Thursday, March 1, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., and Friday, March 2, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. - Pat McGrew, EDP, Director Industry Marketing – “Selecting the Right Technology” – Wednesday, Feb. 28, 3 p.m.–6 p.m., and Thursday, March 1, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.; and “Physical Mail: Opportunity or Curse” – Sunday, March 4 at 10 a.m. In addition, Kodak will serve as a sponsor of a Spanish Seminar Series at Graphics of the Americas. Presented by Artes Grafics and Conversion, in partnership with Graphics of the Americas and the Printing Association of Florida, “Personalized and Variable Data Printing: High-Impact and Innovative Digitally Printed Media” focuses on business opportunities in digital printing technology and services. The seminar consists of two sessions on Friday, March 2, and Saturday, March 3, 8:30 a.m.–12 p.m.
