Great American Insurance Company Selects Exstream's Dialogue Software

Press release from the issuing company

Exstream Software, Inc. today announced that Great American Insurance Company, a leading provider of property and casualty insurance in the United States, has selected its Dialogue software as a common platform to streamline complex document production processes for delivery of timely and effective communications to its client base of independent agents and brokers. Using Dialogue, Great American is moving from a legacy forms processing environment to a more flexible service-oriented architecture to produce a variety of complex insurance documents in real time. Using Dialogue to dynamically produce the time-sensitive documents in real time, underwriters and other company personnel will be able to immediately preview relevant documents online in PDF format, making it possible to respond to clients quickly. The new process will ensure greater accuracy and eliminate time-consuming manual processes. Key considerations in selecting Exstream’s Dialogue were its ease of use, robust design and development environment, and ability to seamlessly integrate with existing business systems. The company intends to take full advantage of Dialogue’s intuitive and collaborative design environment, giving line-of-business more control over outbound communications. Additionally, Dialogue’s ability to dynamically process data from Great American’s legacy and new age systems and data sources will ensure greater document accuracy, and streamline processes by simultaneously generating output for preferred print and electronic delivery channels. “We had a forms solution in place, but decided it was time to take the company into a new era. Exstream has an impressive presence in this market and its proven ability to meet future requirements is very reassuring,” said Piyush Singh, senior vice president and chief information officer of Great American Insurance Company. “The quality of all our communications with agents and brokers is very important to us. Exstream Dialogue enables us to produce colorful, high quality documents quickly and accurately. We believe we now have a full-service solution for optimizing application development and maintenance costs, and getting to market speedily.” “Finding the right document automation solution to handle the many business challenges the insurance industry faces is critical to a company’s success,” said Michael Charest, vice president, insurance services for Exstream. “We are very proud to be working with Great American Insurance and look forward to helping them achieve all of their document process goals using Dialogue.”
