Quark To Sponsor And Present Technical Sessions At Printfest 2007

TUSTIN, Calif., (March 15, 2007) — Cal Events, producer of PrintFest 2007, announced today that Quark Inc, an award-winning publishing software company, will sponsor and present two technical sessions on April 21, 2007 during PrintFest. These include “Create Press-Ready Files with Quark Print Collection, which will show attending graphic communications professionals how to impose native QuarkXPress layouts or PDF files using powerful pre-press tools. The second technical session, “Take QuarkXPress 7 for a Test Drive” will highlight key new features of Version 7 including dynamic, built-in design and collaboration capabilities and Job Jackets for incorporating detailed workflow and prepress information into projects. “We are excited about the opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of Print Collection and show how it will enhance quality, optimize resources and reduce costs,” said Richard Pasewark, Quark senior vice president of sales. “Additionally, we will show how QuarkXPress empowers users to achieve their design and production goals.” PrintFest 2007, the International Conference and Expo for Traditional and Digital Printing will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center on April 19-21, 2007 with the expo taking place April 20-21. “Quark recognizes the value of the West Coast printing marketplace, and we are thrilled to have them present their popular business communications tools at PrintFest 2007,” said Chris Jacobson, president of Cal Events
