June 11, 2007--To meet escalating demand for personalized direct mail campaigns, Freedom Graphic Systems Inc., one of the fastest growing direct mail production companies in the nation, has ordered two more Xerox Corporation iGen3(R) 110 Digital Production Presses, complementing the two presses that it installed only six months ago.
The digital presses will support Freedom Graphic Systems' direct mail business, which is expanding rapidly, particularly with clients in the retail and financial industries. In these markets the company provides customized, one-to-one campaigns targeted at a particular audience or individual.
"With advances in digital print technology, including significant improvements in cost, it was the ideal time to expand our services," said Marty Liebert, president, Freedom Graphic Systems. "The Xerox iGen3 presses give us great image quality, reliability and the ability to evolve and adapt as our customer's requirements change."
According to Liebert, the two Xerox iGen3 presses installed at Freedom's production facility in Aurora, Ill. in December 2006 complement its existing capabilities. The company anticipates personalized print volumes in excess of 3 billion impressions in 2007 on its continuous feed, offset and Xerox iGen3 presses, with digital color from the Xerox iGen3 being the catalyst for higher value one-to-one campaigns. The two new digital presses are expected to be installed later this year.

Freedom Graphic Systems also chose the Xerox iGen3 presses because they enabled the company to upgrade its overall print workflow by adding Web-to-print services so customers could place and track orders via the Internet. This allows Freedom Graphic Systems to broaden its customer base regardless of geography. The Xerox iGen3 presses also offer a range of paper feeding options, along with advanced finishing capabilities such as UV coating and stitching.
Using the Xerox ProfitAccelerator(TM) Digital Business Resources portfolio, Freedom Graphic Systems found it was simple to help spread the word about the capabilities of its new Xerox iGen3 presses. For example, an open house kit helped the company create and print a customer mailer publicizing an event that showcased the new presses to existing and potential customers. The company has also used vertical marketing sales kits to develop case studies demonstrating the revenue potential of one-to-one marketing. The case studies can be customized for each customer prospect in Freedom Graphic Systems' target industries.
Freedom Graphic Systems' Xerox iGen3 presses are equipped with a Creo Spire color server. Tying the company's print workflow together is Xerox digital asset management software that enables the Xerox iGen3 presses to sync up with a customer's CRM database to produce targeted, personalized applications.
