Graphics of the Americas and Xplor Provides the Perfect Blend

Miami Beach, Florida– January 22, 2007– Graphics of the Americas-Xplor, the second largest U.S.-based annual international graphic communications exhibit and conference, today announced that the industry’s top manufacturers and dealers plan to demonstrate their latest traditional and digital printing equipment offerings at the upcoming Graphics of the Americas-Xplor exhibition and conference. The co-located event is scheduled for March 2-4 (exhibit) and February 28-March 4 (conference), 2007 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. For 2007, attendees can experience the newest offerings from offset equipment manufacturers and suppliers including Akiyama, Goss, Hamada, KBA, MAN Roland, Mark Andy, Presstek, Ryobi, Shinohara, Webpro and more. In addition, digital equipment manufacturers and suppliers including Duplo, Eastman Kodak, HP, IBM, MGI-USA, Nipson, Xante, Xeikon and Xerox will also be represented as well. Graphics of the Americas-Xplor will also host a number of new exhibition features allowing attendees to experience the latest printing and graphic arts equipment, high-volume digital printing systems, products and technology of the New Year. The event is expected to draw 500 exhibiting companies, in over 1200 booths, covering 500,000 square feet of the Miami Beach Convention Center. Returning Attractions and New Event Features For 2007, the Graphics of the Americas-Xplor exhibition will once again feature a number of popular exhibit attractions including Adobe’s Theatre, Definitely Digital Highway, Design City, On Demand Book Making Factory, Printers’ Showcase and the Wide Format Hall. New for 2007, the exhibition will also feature the XML/PDF Pavilion, where attendees can experience the latest software innovations for the industry, Substrate Central that will feature the latest paper and unique substrate offerings as well as the Web-to-Print Pavilion, exploring of the industry’s most talked about technologies and market opportunities. “Exhibitors can look forward to an enthusiastic audience, freshly armed with their 2007 budgets,” said Chris Price, vice president and general manager for Graphics of the Americas. “Attendees have come to depend on Graphics of the Americas as the first event of the New Year with new equipment purchases at the top of their agendas.” Together, the combined conference and exhibit will provide both attendees and exhibitors with a rewarding event experience that provides end-users, printers, IT and creative professionals with a one-of-a kind showcase for the perfect blend of knowledge, products and technology.
