Agfa Names New Sales Account Manager for Eastern Ontario

Toronto, Ontario – December 21, 2006 – Agfa Graphics today announced that Parker MacDonald has joined the company as account manager for Eastern Ontario. In this position, MacDonald will be responsible for all sales and dealer initiatives involving the complete graphics portfolio in Eastern Ontario. "Parker brings Agfa Graphics a wealth of experience both on the sales and production ends of the printing business," said Jack Baraczek, director of Agfa Graphics, Canada. "His technology know-how and his sales acumen will serve both Agfa Graphics and the Eastern Ontario region extraordinarily well." MacDonald brings more than 18 years of graphic arts industry experience, most recently as Presstek Canada Corp.’s national sales manager for Consumables. He began his career at Itek Graphix as a Field Engineer and quickly migrated to sales as a Print Solutions Specialist with ABDick. He is a graduate of the DeVry Institute of Technology with a degree in electronic engineering. "With technology moving so quickly in today’s new digital environment, busy printers are having a difficult time keeping up with emerging trends. Part of our role is to help printers stay ahead by providing insight and education about recent industry advancements. This collaborative approach helps us to better provide appropriate solutions," MacDonald said.
