Call for Entries for Mohawk Show 8

Press release from the issuing company

[Cohoes, NY] - Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. is accepting entries for its eighth annual Mohawk Show now through May 31, 2007. For Mohawk Show 8, the prize value has been increased. The Best of Show winners will now receive $5,000 cash, and in addition Mohawk will award finalists with a $500 cash prize. There are no entry fees, and designers and printers can enter as many pieces as they choose. Each year the Mohawk Show celebrates the works of those who make concrete the complex communications of our culture, and who go beyond the expected to turn ideas and visions into extraordinary print communication. Entries are judged by a select panel of jurors on the basis of intelligent design, appropriate use of paper and production excellence. Along with the traditional top four Best of Show winners there will be one Best of Show winner selected for this year's in-house design category. Entries for the in-house design category must be identified on the entry form. Honorable mentions will also be chosen for distinctive works that the jury would like to recognize. Judges for Mohawk Show 8 include: Paula Scher, Partner, Pentagram New York; Dana Arnett, Principal, VSA Partners, Chicago; Luke Hayman, Design Director, New York Magazine; and Jessica Helfand, Partner, Winterhouse, Connecticut. To receive an entry form, or for more information about the eighth annual Mohawk Show, contact your local merchant specification representative or call 1-800 the mill.
