Purple Wine Selects TFC, Inc. as Its Premier Direct Marketing Services Provider

Press release from the issuing company

DEC 4 -- Marketing services provider TFC, Inc., today announced that the Purple Wine Company has selected TFC as the premier provider for Purple Wine’s marketing services including printing, production, sales material management, and delivery. As part of the relationship, TFC will support the production and distribution of Purple Wine’s point of sale (POS) marketing and wine sample materials. In addition, TFC will provide Purple Wine with a variety of direct marketing services including online POS inventory management and strategic account management services. “Our business is growing rapidly and we needed a partner to help us automate the marketing process,” said Susan Durbrow of Purple Wine Company. “TFC has provided us with a full-service, scalable solution that gives our sales and marketing teams the time to strategically plan and spend marketing dollars while TFC handles the day-to-day account management of our POS programs. TFC’s tools put us in a better position to forecast future spending and to maximize our marketing dollars.” TFC offers a suite of marketing solutions including a web-enabled inventory and order management system, customizable color digital printing, and distribution solutions for POS campaigns. TFC also offers a dedicated account team that is experienced in marketing to the food and beverage industry. This team fully understands the marketing process and sales cycle and will address specific client business challenges. The announcement of the Purple Wine relationship follows TFC’s recent partnership with major wine provider Icon Estates. “Food and beverage companies have tremendous pressure to market effectively across large sales organizations and across many geographic regions,” said Connie Hill, President and Founder of TFC, Inc. “At the same time they need to maintain control of their brand at a corporate level. TFC helps them accomplish this and our relationships with Icon Estates, Purple Wine Company, and others are prime examples of the value we can bring to companies in this market.” Working with Purple Wine’s creative services and marketing teams, TFC will support seven Purple Wine brands. Each brand has a minimum of one to two major direct marketing campaigns annually. In addition, TFC will provide marketing services for other flow items used throughout the year. TFC will store literature items as well as a small amount of wine for wine sample distribution and will provide temperature controlled storage as needed. “We are thrilled to work with another innovative marketer in the food and beverage industry,” added Hill. The TFC inventory management system will provide Purple Wine with an unmatched degree of flexibility, 24/7 real-time access and accountability for shipment and delivery. Purple Wine sales managers will have direct access to marketing materials and a fast and easy way to place orders. The closed-loop system will decrease time to market, reduce production overages, and automatic communication between channels. In addition, order tracking capabilities will enable Purple Wine to locate orders at any time in the fulfillment process. TFC will monitor all of Purple Wine’s various items, set re-order quantities and provide real-time reporting.
