Ricoh Announces Technesis as an Approved Embedded Java Application Provider

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Nov. 20 -- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced that Technesis Inc., a Ricoh Technology Alliance Member, has passed Ricoh's Compatibility Testing for its Print Management/Cost Recovery product. Ricoh's Compatibility Testing ensures that Technesis' print activity monitoring solution has been thoroughly integrated into the Ricoh Embedded Software Architecture (ESA) platform. With the customer in mind, Ricoh always looks for ways to seamlessly integrate enhanced solutions into its product lines and eliminate the need for external hardware. End users of Ricoh's ESA platform and Technesis' Print Management/Cost Recovery product will benefit from the integration through seamless interaction between hardware and software. The Technesis solution can now be accessed directly from the MFP's display panel. As a result, customers will recognize increased productivity through faster access to information and better control printing, track usage and manage costs all from one device.
