ROCHESTER, NY -- Videk, a leading manufacturer of intelligent scanning and reading systems for the print and mail industry, and Beijing D&H Technology have partnered to offer Videk's vision inspection equipment to the Chinese market. D&H Technology, headquartered in Beijing, China, will act as a Videk dealer whose primary business focus is to introduce the latest advances in printing technology to the Printers of Greater China.
Through this partnership, D&H will promote, distribute, and service Videk's in-line vision inspection equipment throughout China. Videk will supply both sales and technical support to equip D&H with the materials necessary to provide customers a fully customized vision inspection system. D&H plans to employ vision inspection equipment to guarantee the quality and accuracy of such applications as lottery tickets, bond securities printing, note printing, business form printing, and mail/letter dealings. By verifying the accuracy of the printed materials, Videk's systems allow for lower production costs in labor, waste and risk management.
"It is a win-win situation for both companies," says Tom Slechta, president Videk. This cooperative effort will benefit both parties in product expansion and the development of untapped revenue streams," Slechta continues. "The combination of proven Videk technology and the printing expertise of D&H can only propel us to success in the Greater China market."
"We can now offer our customers a technology they have been requesting, as print inspection is a necessity in the industry today. On behalf of D&H, we are very excited to work with Videk and offer valuable solutions to our current and future customers," says Sunny Fu of Beijing D&H Technology.
