Document Security Unveils Next Generation of AuthentiGuard On-Demand Variable Printing
Press release from the issuing company
November 1, 2007 - Document Security Systems, a provider of patented protection against counterfeiting and unauthorized copying, scanning and photo imaging, has revealed details about the expanded development of its AuthentiGuard On-Demand suite of anti-counterfeiting technologies.
Working with its Premier Partner, the Ergonomic Group, Inc., DMC has introduced the next generation of AuthentiGuard On-Demand that allows variable data printing of AuthentiGuard Prism technologies, which hide a unique anti-counterfeiting and brand protection marker embedded in a file. This system will allow large enterprise customers in the lottery industry and commercial printers to produce secure variable data documents. Like the first generation of AuthentiGuard On-Demand, the electronic form, when printed, is automatically produced with embedded authentication security technology elements that can t be duplicated with standard copiers or scanners.
Peter Ettinger, President, Document Security Systems explained, DMC introduced the original AuthentiGuard On-Demand desktop delivery system in September 2006, which allowed us to deliver our print technology solutions on a digital level. Since the launch of the first generation of On-Demand, we have received requests from around the world for a variable data system - from Mexico to the Antilles, Asia to the U.S., within the multi-billion dollar lottery sector to numerous applications supporting marketing and promotional programs. We believe these segments offer great opportunity for DMC as security increasingly becomes a focus in these markets.
He continued, DMC will continue to innovate, and modify its products to meet the increased need of secure documents delivered through an electronic platform. We have a long history of technology innovation and our research and development team continues to remain ahead of our competitors in the development of anti-counterfeiting technology. As more and more industries seek us out for ways to protect their printed data, we believe that our On-Demand Suite will be the driving force behind the future growth of this company and be an important aspect of our wins in weeks and months to come.
