"Ultimate invented the digital light table for imposition and stripping on computer screen, but digital printing and short-run offset need faster job turnaround, preferably with no human intervention," explains David Watson, President and CEO of Ultimate. "This is why the Ultimate products are automated with hot folders and self adjusting templates so the digital printer can just drop in the jobs and have them automatically processed correctly."
Impostrip On Demand features Intelligent Hot Folders with Dynamic Templates that automatically adjust to the size and number of pages in the job. Options are available to place Barcode on each sheet or page, to handle Optimized PDF to speed production of jobs with repetitive images, and large sheet size for larger presses or ink jets.
