Engle Printing Partners With Tensor on New Tower Design
Press release from the issuing company
WOODRIDGE, IL (October 12, 2006) – Tensor Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the current installation of Tensor’s newest single-width (40 inch wide) product offering to Engle Printing and Publishing Co. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Two four-high towers of the innovatively designed, high-speed T-500 press is being installed to provide enhanced, high quality four color capability on Engle’s existing Goss Universal press.
The new press, rated at a speed of 50,000 iph, incorporates three vibrator rollers and three ink form rollers to meet the ink coverage demands of today’s growing heatset and UV markets. Plate cylinder cocking with form roller-following, a standard feature, provides an additional valuable tool for accurate registration.
The T-500 offers substantially more square inches of ink transfer capability than any press in its market. In addition, independent circumferential 10-and 13-side adjustments and a footprint shaftless drive system are standard.
This project marks the third consecutive purchase of Tensor equipment by Engle Printing within the last four years.
This latest product offering from Tensor follows a series of very successful new product introductions, including the first 40” single-width unit developed in 1994, the T-400BE full bearer semi-commercial press, the recently released 700mm cutoff T-1400 product, the H-50 folder for 14-web single-width applications, and the high-speed commercial quarter folder for enhanced insert and book folding capability.
