Press release from the issuing company
Dubai: November 2007 – South Asian giants from the printing, publishing, packaging and the graphic art industry are increasingly demonstrating keen interest in the International Media Production Zone (IMPZ), as an ideal destination to mark their presence in the region.
A member of TECOM Investments, IMPZ's unique value proposition of pre built units was spotlighted at the recently concluded IPEX South Asia 2007, South Asia's largest printing exhibition held in New Delhi, India. The 70 sq ft stand of the free zone, dedicated to the printing, publishing, packaging (3P) and graphic art industry, drew a footfall of over 8000 visitors.
During the four day trade fair, IMPZ, held a series of discussions with decision makers from the printing, packaging and allied industries. The talks, which revealed strong investor interest in IMPZ's pre built units, resulted in significant collaborations with leading 3P entities in India, including Accurate Printers and Pathfinder Graphics.
Sindbad Almahaire, Director of Sales and Business Development, IMPZ said: "The event provided an excellent opportunity to gather information on technology updates, market perspectives and industry specific developments. Our consistent integrated marketing efforts generated optimistic responses from South Asia, specifically from India.
"With more and more investors gaining an in depth understanding of the IMPZ concept, the free zone is drawing leading investors seeking to establish a footprint in this region. This complements our endeavour to drive the destination as a global hub for the 3P and graphic arts sector."
Bringing together over 180 exhibitors, IPEX 2007 showcased an outstanding line up of leading global manufacturers and suppliers, including industry players from India, China, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Singapore, USA and the UAE. The event served as an ideal platform to display a spectrum of advanced print technologies, equipment and ancillary devices.
IMPZ is offering a total of 76 pre-built units, including showrooms with warehouses, car parking and mezzanine floors. Other offerings by IMPZ include a media market, a detailed retail resource stocking specialized art and production goods, an exhibition and conference hall, a business centre, a hotel and a media community centre with facilities such as art galleries, cafes and activity centers.
