Finlay Printing Featured in Trade Ads for MAN Roland
Press release from the issuing company
Oct 26, 2007 - Bloomfield, CT - To draw crowds to their booth at Graph Expo 2007, MAN Roland launched a new promotion for 2008 on the Expo event guide cover. Todd and Kevin Kalagher, President and CEO of Finlay Printing, where prominently featured on the piece, along with a quote from the two brothers, "MAN Roland, best investment we ever made!"
A 25-year plus customer, Finlay has been very pleased with MAN Roland equipment. They have a 700 10/c perfector and a 700 6/c w/AQ, both installed in 2005, and a 700 7/c w/AQ that power Finlay's success. They are all networked using MAN Roland's PrintNet control and automation process. This system allows Finlay to have up to 60% shorter makereadies than the competition. On top of the PrintNet systems provided by MAN Roland, Finlay is also the first printer in North America to be fully JDF/JMF compliant using MAN and efi/Hagen. This greatly reduces potential bottlenecks in their overall workflow.
The ads featuring the "Finlay Bros" are scheduled to run in New England Printer & Publisher, Printing Impressions and several other trade publications. "Our participation in MAN's ad campaign is a great way for us to say thanks for creating the highest quality, most efficient pressroom we've ever had here in my 25 years at Finlay" said CEO Kevin Kalagher. "The PrintNet system is just an amazing competitive edge for us."
The MAN Roland promotional piece from Graph Expo 2007 also featured an image of Finlay's newest addition, to be installed in December, a Roland 700 8/c perfector w/AQ and the new Prindor Inline Foiler.
