Press release from the issuing company
Hudson, NH – June 14, 2006 – Presstek, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of high-tech digital imaging solutions for the graphic communications industry, today announced that Ralph C. Jenkins has joined the company as Regional Sales Director, Northeast Region.
“We are pleased to welcome Ralph to the Presstek family,” said Emile Tabassi, Vice President of Sales. “His extensive industry knowledge and experience and proven performance make him an ideal fit for the dynamic and fast-growing Northeast Region.”
Prior to joining Presstek, Jenkins held a number of positions at Agfa Corporation over 23 years, most recently as National Sales & Marketing Manager for the company's Global Services Division (North America), where he expanded and diversified the Services Business, while achieving profitable sales growth. Jenkins also served as National Training Manager for Agfa's Graphic Systems Business Unit.
“I am excited to be joining the Presstek team,” said Jenkins. “For the past two years, Presstek has been reinventing itself, and its rapid growth validates the strategic direction the company has chosen to take. Its large and loyal customer base in the small commercial, quick and in-plant printing community, combined with its impressive portfolio of digital products, are a strong platform for success.”
Jenkins is assuming a new position, created when Presstek expanded from five to six sales regions in North America to better address a growing market opportunity as the small commercial, quick and in-plant print market undergoes a digital transformation.
