AIIM Conference & Expo 2006 ON DEMAND Conference & Expo 2006 PHILADELPHIA--May 18, 2006-- Questex Media Group, Inc. today announced its co-located AIIM & DEMAND Expos wrapped up an extremely successful week at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Representatives from more than 31 Fortune 50 companies and 61 Fortune 100 companies registered for this year's event, which included more than 20,000 visitors from 50 states and 62 countries, 450 exhibiting companies and 250 members of the press and analyst community. The company also announced that next year's event will take place April 16-19, 2007 at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center. The AIIM Conference & Expo is the largest enterprise content and information management event showcasing the technologies and solutions that align content and business processes in order to drive performance. Pesko, Jr., Managing Director, InfoTrends, presented a State of the Industry Address on the Future of black and white versus color and the paradigm shift; and -- A visionary keynote panel of executives addressed 'The Evolving Digital Color On Demand Printing Opportunity,' which included Canon USA, HP, Eastman Kodak Company, Xerox North America and Charlie Corr of InfoTrends. Oracle presented one session: Content-Enabling the Enterprise in a Services Oriented Environment. -- AIIM ON DEMAND CONNECT: This social networking tool allowed participants to match, search, connect, share, and schedule meetings with registered attendees and exhibitors, participating at the upcoming Expos. -- Expanded AIIM Conference Content: This year's conference content was expanded from six to nine concurrent educational tracks examining the convergence of content and information management. Conference sessions included case studies, benchmark/industry studies, and panel discussions. The conference program built on the traditional enterprise and document management challenges related to capturing, managing, sharing and storing information to also address the accessibility, sharing, analysis and use of enterprise content to improve organizational performance. The conference also included tracks developed and delivered by analysts from Forrester Research and Ventana Research. -- ON DEMAND Conference Content: The ON DEMAND Conference program addressed digital printing and production challenges relating to creating, managing, personalizing, and delivering content. Conference sessions included case studies, benchmark/industry studies, and panel discussions. The conference program was divided into two conference tracks, Print On Demand Technology and Print Service Provider, and five special interest tracks. The program highlighted the transformation being experienced by the digital printing industry and examined the emerging opportunities and pitfalls related to product improvements, workflow management, and sales and marketing strategies. A special feature of the event was AIIM & ON DEMAND exhibitors' support for Philadelphia's School of the Future. Each year, the AIIM & ON DEMAND Expos give back to the local community by participating in a local educational-related charity. This year, the Expos partnered with Philadelphia's School of the Future - a public school where the newest technologies are abound, where the curriculum is relevant and adaptive, and where a state of the art building provides solid ground for fertile minds.
