Enfocus & Creo Print On-Demand Solutions Group Announce Partnership

PHILADELPHIA (On Demand) – May 15, 2006 – Enfocus is pleased to announce a partnership with Creo Print On-Demand Solutions Group (PODS).
Per the companies’ agreement, Enfocus has developed PitStop EDIT exclusively for Creo PODS. PitStop EDIT is an abridged version of Enfocus’ popular preflighting, editing and correction application; and is initially available with the new Creo PODS’ Spire CXP50 color server (Pro Kit) driving the Xerox DocuColor 5000 digital press, Creo Spire CXP8000 (version 2) color server driving the Xerox DocuColor 8000 digital press, and the Spire for iGen3 color server driving both the Xerox iGen3 110 and 90 production presses.
PitStop EDIT allows for late stage editing of PDF files. Creo PODS’ Spire with PitStop EDIT is being demonstrated on the new Creo Spire CXP50 and Spire for iGen3 at On Demand Expo, at Xerox booth # 2100.
Additionally, Creo PODS Spire CXP8000 driving a Xerox DocuColor 8000 digital press will be showcased at GBC’s booth # 1849.

Creo PODS Spire & PitStop EDIT: A Powerful Combination
Creo PODS Spire digital color servers are robust, on-demand printing solutions based on proprietary Creo technology and designed exclusively to drive the Xerox Digital Color Presses.
PitStop EDIT is an abridged version of PitStop Professional, and is preinstalled on Creo PODS Spire digital color servers. PitStop EDIT streamlines the production process and allows users to output more jobs with fewer errors. PitStop EDIT offers an easy upgrade path to the full PitStop Professional solution.
PitStop EDIT provides users with advanced PDF-editing capabilities, including Global Change, which allows users to change color, font, and many other attributes throughout a PDF document; Action Lists, for automatically carrying out sequences of edits; and the Inspector function, which allows users to view the properties of selected objects and to measure the distance between two points.
