AIIM and ON DEMAND Expos Roll Out Suite of Networking Tools
Press release from the issuing company
AIIM Conference & Expo 2006 ON DEMAND Conference & Expo 2006 NEWTON, Mass.--May 8, 2006-- Questex Media Group, Inc. today announced the launch of a suite of networking tools that allows participants to match, search, connect, share, and schedule meetings with other registered attendees and exhibitors, participating at the upcoming AIIM and ON DEMAND Expos. The AIIM and ON DEMAND Expos are scheduled to take place May 15-18 in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Event attendees and exhibitors can maximize their experience by using the suite of networking tools in three ways: AIIM ON DEMAND Connect helps participants network socially with corporate executives and IT professionals from both events; the AIIM ON DEMAND Trip Report provides each attendee with a comprehensive list of all exhibitors they meet onsite, which in turn helps them complete the buying cycle; and a new Invite-A-Friend registration feature lets participants electronically alert staff and colleagues to the event in general, or to specific relevant content.
AIIM ON DEMAND CONNECT
Once participants register for the events, they receive an e-mail invitation with instructions on how to access AIIM and ON DEMAND Connect. Users then create an anonymous profile online and have access to matching and search tools to help them connect with attendees or exhibitors of interest. Users can communicate online before the event and even arrange to meet attendees, suppliers and business prospects at the event. AIIM and ON DEMAND Connect will be live for two months after the event is over to allow attendees to continue making connections.
"These new networking tools are great news for attendees as well as the hundreds of exhibitors at the AIIM and ON DEMAND Expos," said Christina Condos, group director, Technology Events for Questex. "Exhibitors will get an extra value-add by being able to network with potential business partners and attendees from both events. For attendees, the tools provide an opportunity to optimize their time at the expo, make lasting connections, and take a more proactive role in completing their technology purchases."
