Agfa Names New Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Canada

Toronto, ON – May 1, 2006 – Agfa Graphics today announced that Ruben Silva has joined the company as regional sales manager for the Eastern Canada region. In this position, Silva will manage the Agfa sales team and dealer relations to drive equipment and supply sales in Eastern Canada.
“Ruben comes to Agfa with an impressive background of managing opportunities for sales growth in the graphic arts industry,” said Jack Baraczek, director of Agfa Graphics, Canada. “He has a deep understanding of both the hardware and consumable areas of the graphics business.”
With more than 18 years in the graphic arts industry, Silva is an accomplished sales management professional. Prior to joining Agfa, he held both technical and sales management positions at Presstek Canada, AB Dick, Itek Graphics and Gestetner. Areas of responsibility included national supply sales and eastern region hardware sales with Presstek and national sales & marketing with AB Dick.
