Cohoes, NY – Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. is proud to announce that it's Hamilton, Ohio, Beckett Mill achieved one million safe work hours without a lost time injury. Between January 11, 2004 and January 18, 2006, none of the mill's 176 employees sustained an injury that resulted in loss of work. This is the third time the Beckett Mill has achieved this significant milestone since 1998. In addition to the one million safe work hours without a lost time injury, the Beckett Mill had only 3 recordable injuries (injuries that may require medical attention but do not result in days missed) for all of 2005 — the lowest number in the history of the Beckett Mill. “Everyone here is extremely proud of this achievement. The Safety Committee and Awareness teams are employee driven and have produced great results.
