Stora Enso's New Paper for Digital Printing Equipment

Press release from the issuing company

STAMFORD, Conn., Apr. 21, 2006 – Stora Enso has launched Blazer Digital, a value-grade gloss-coated digital paper that is precision-cut and runs clean for jam-free performance. Blazer Digital will be available after May 15 in convenient sheet sizes. Stora Enso manufactures Blazer Digital using strict quality control to minimize paper dust that can contaminate printing equipment. This reduces runnability problems and extends the operating life of printing machines. In addition, Blazer Digital's precision-cut sheets prevent paper-edge bonding to further facilitate the flow of the paper through printing equipment, thereby increasing productivity. Blazer Digital is produced in 80 lb. and 100 lb. gloss text and cover, in sheet sizes of 18” x 12” and 20.5” x 14.3”. It is engineered for production color laser, HP Indigo and digital offset technologies. Blazer Digital is certified by the Rochester Institute of Technology for use on HP Indigo without sapphire treatment. “Blazer Digital delivers the high-value combination of price and quality to our customers,” commented Dennis Essary, director of digital papers for Stora Enso. “This will allow our customers to save money and time while delivering a quality product to their end-use consumers.” Stora Enso offers the most comprehensive line of digital paper products in North America.
