Wilmington, DE, June 6, 2008 – Associates Graphic Services,  a graphic communications company in Wilmington, DE, has been selected as a first place winner of the 2008 Benjamin Franklin Awards for Direct Marketing Excellence.   The “Benny” award competition, a 35 year tradition, is now one of the region’s highest honors in direct marketing and advertising.  This year’s event and presentation took place on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Loews Philadelphia hotel.

“We are thrilled to win a Benny, especially when it was our first time entering this competition” states Karen Keenan, Director of Marketing at AGS. ”We produce some fantastic campaigns and we wanted to gage where we stood in relation to the competition.  We’re incredibly proud that scored with both entries,” added Keenan.

AGS was honored as the First Place Winner in the “Internet Interactive, Invitation to Inquire” category for its Advantage Wilmington campaign for the Office of Economic Development in the City of Wilmington.  They also received an honorable mention in the “Internet Interactive, Acquisition – Offer to Purchase” category for their “Take Me To Everest” campaign for W.
