Concord Litho CEO to be Panelist at 'Sustainability in Printing' Conference

CONCORD, N.H. (June 04, 2008)  - Concord Litho CEO Peter Cook will join three industry experts for a special panel session on green printing at IntertechPira's “Sustainability in Printing 2008” conference this June in Philadelphia.

The panel of experts -- moderated by Bill Esler, editor in chief of Graphic Arts Monthly -- will explore current trends and topics in sustainability, the greening of print and its supply chain, and “green print-buyer dynamics” at a 4 pm session June 19. The conference, which runs from June 18 through 20 at the Doubletree Hotel in Philadelphia, is co-chaired by Esler and Lewis Fix, business director of Domtar's EarthChoice products.

Concord Litho, which has seven heat-set web and sheetfed presses, 200 employees, and $43 million in annual sales, offers a “Green Printing Options” program for print buyers looking for eco-friendly, responsible production choices, and holds valid chain-of-custody certifications from both the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).
