Vue/Point Conference Program To Feature New Opportunities To Drive Printers’ Profits

Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA – Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC) today released the program for the 2006 VUE/POINT Conference, April 10 – 12, 2006 at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, FL. This year’s conference will focus on how printers can increase profits through new services and improved sales and marketing. Panelists will relate their success stories, and show how adding new ancillary services have helped to capture new and existing customers, build revenues and boost profits. “This is the most interactive, and surely the most value-packed three-day conference in our industry,” noted Ralph Nappi, the new president of GASC, the event’s producer. “Everyone I talk to who’s previously attended VUE/POINT tells me they consistently come away with more great ‘take home’ ideas than they get at any other conference.” Attendees can expect to find a wide array of panel discussion sessions, featuring four to five printer panelists per session, moderated by industry experts. Questions and comments from the audience drive the discussion, so that all registrants can participate in this unique, interactive, forum. This year’s topic list holds sessions on a variety of new and ancillary services that print professionals can add to their customer offerings, as well as pressing technology and workflow issues. Among this year’s 16 featured panel discussions will be: •Walking the Walk—A Look at Those Who Have Become More Than Just Printers •Solution Selling—How to Retool Your Sales Team •Opportunities in Wide Format Printing •Remote Workflows Realties •Ramping up for Web-to-Print •Digital Asset Management—Has It Become a Required Offering? •Building a Business from One-to-One Marketing •Learning about Lists—The ABCs of List Procurement •Why You Should Embrace Mailing and Fulfillment “It became clear to us at the 2005 conference that our core attendees were starting to look beyond technology and increase their focus on how to grow their entire business. No other industry event seems to be addressing this new balance between technology and the need to sell and market new services,” said Michael Vinocur, the event’s manager. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families to take advantage of the Conference’s proximity to the many attractions the Orlando area has to offer, including Disney World, Sea World, and more.
