Cramer-Krasselt Commits to QuarkXPress 6.5; Leading Creative Firm Extends Partnership with Quark

Press release from the issuing company

DENVER--Dec. 6, 2005-- Quark Inc. announced today that Cramer-Krasselt, the fourth-largest independent advertising agency in the country, has enhanced its workflow with an upgrade to QuarkXPress 6.5. The creative staff at Cramer-Krasselt can now take advantage of the new solution-oriented features of QuarkXPress 6.5 to deliver faster creative development and print production. Because QuarkXPress has been the page layout application of choice for Cramer-Krasselt for more than a decade - the company is now using almost 150 licenses - Quark was able to extend support to the agency. The agency's renewed commitment enhances the value of the latest release of the award-winning product from Quark. In addition, the Quark team provided Cramer-Krasselt with on-site training on the latest features of the software and offered the agency support during its migration. The extensibility of Quark technology also allows Cramer-Krasselt to take advantage of XTensions modules that have been developed to meet the agency's particular needs. XTensions modules are popular tools that enable users to share customized functions specific to their environment at a high value return. "Quark has been extremely supportive throughout this process," said Dave Botma, production graphics director of Cramer-Krasselt. "The core features of QuarkXPress 6.5 and the XTensions modules enable our users to express their creativity and meet the needs of our clients. Furthermore, the assistance of Quark's field team, coupled by their desire to work with us to provide us with the best possible service, gives us a sense of a true partnership." "We are appreciative of the commitment by Cramer-Krasselt to use QuarkXPress for their creative work," said Richard Pasewark, vice president of sales for the Americas, Quark. "Cramer-Krasselt's results are indicative of the breadth of functionality and production capability found in QuarkXPress. Their continued input on the product will enable us to deliver new enhancements for them and other customers in this important market."
