ICS Establishes Distribution in China with Polytech

Press release from the issuing company

New York, NY; November 17, 2005 – Integrated Color Solutions (ICS), the industry leader in providing remote color proofing solutions, continues its worldwide expansion and has established distribution in China. ICS will partner with China's Polytech to bring its award-winning software to that country. "ICS is proud and excited to partner with Polytech to bring Remote Director to China," said John Sweeney, ICS' vice president of sales and marketing. "We are committed to supporting our global customers and we welcome Polytech to our network of top dealers around the world." Founded in 1990, Polytech focuses on large-scale prepress industry system integration, color management and printing materials operating. Polytech combines study and development, integration and service, and has an extensive line of prepress capabilities, including digital proofing and color management, printing materials operation and prepress service. "We're pleased to enter the Chinese market with such a great partner and this marks our first foothold into the Asian market," added Jeffrey Silverman, president and CEO of ICS. "We believe China's printing and publishing markets are ready for monitor and remote proofing technologies and, sharing the sentiments outlined by Time, Inc. during a recent monitor proofing seminar, believe that companies there will benefit greatly." ICS's Remote Director applies advanced color management and software technologies to ensure color-accurate proofs and allows multiple users to view the same artwork, add comments and collaborate about color as well as content. Users build a complete digital record of the entire job from start to finish. Reviewers can collaborate in real-time or work at their own convenience, allowing photographers, agencies, clients, prepress shops and printers to all communicate more rapidly and effectively while viewing color with certainty. In addition to saving time and travel costs, ICS' Remote Director opens the door for new business by erasing geographical boundaries. It allows users to collaborate across the office and across town as well as state-to-state and country-to-country. The latest version of Remote Director, introduced earlier this year, features a suite of enhancements, giving users instant navigation of a color-managed monitor proof at press. This helps users in terms of make-ready time, as well as eliminates the costly handling of paper proofs.
