Rapid Bind, Inc. of Portland, OR installed an OmniFold, the latest automatic folder/gluer from Kluge. Established in 1977, the bindery company chose to install a flip gate, bump-90, 18 and 33 inch top belts drives, and a 2 + 1 additional head hot melt glue system with controllers, for converting pocket folders, CD wallets and other specialty applications. Family owned Neyenesch Printers of San Diego, CA recently installed a Kluge UniFold automatic folder/gluer. The independent top-tier printer has been providing printing services since 1899. Their new Kluge equipment includes vertical buckle folder upgrade that eliminates crows feet or wrinkling on heavy stocks, TransTable III, and a 2 + 1 additional head hot melt glue system with controllers. The Castle Press of Pasadena, CA recently upgraded their Kluge UniFold automatic folder/gluer. Founded in 1931, the commercial printers chose 3-line hot melt glue system with controller and TransTable III upgrades. By utilizing the versatile construction, Castle Press are able to broaden the converting services they provide while allowing increased options for folding and gluing pocket folders. Independent Printing of DePere, WI recently added an EHD Series Press to their workforce of Kluge equipment. The optional accessories included the missed sheet detector and delayed delivery system. Independent Printing will use their press in conjunction with their two additional EHD Series Presses, three Kluge UniFold's and FlexFold automatic folders to foil stamp, emboss and convert presentation folders, greeting cards and other general commercial projects.
