Lincoln, Nebraska (November 2, 2005) - MetroGroup Corp. announced today that Bob Wientzen has joined its Board of Directors. Bob, who previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Direct Marketing Association, is an accomplished marketing veteran with more than 30 years of experience.
Bob was the former CEO and Chairman of Advanced Promotion Technologies, Inc. (APT) and has held numerous senior leadership roles in marketing with Procter & Gamble (P&G). At P&G, Bob pioneered the company’s direct marketing efforts, facilitated the development of what is regarded as the world’s largest consumer database, orchestrated promotions, and launched several catalogs. Bob has also served as Chairman of the American Forest & Paper Association’s Paper Industry Association Council and is a member of the Advertising Council’s Board.
