American Direct Plans Move to New Baltimore Facility

Press release from the issuing company

Baltimore, MD (May 31, 2008) – American Direct LLC, a continuous and cut sheet form supplier, announced that it will move early this summer from its current 15,000-square-foot site into a new 40,000-square-foot facility located at 3501 Duncanwood Lane, also in Baltimore.

American Direct is part of Tidewater Direct LLC. Tidewater Direct specializes in the efficient, high-quality production of high-volume direct mail component applications. American Direct is a component part supplier to direct mail general contractors. Once completed, the relocation will increase the Tidewater footprint to 192,000 square feet which includes 120,000 square feet in Centreville, MD, 32,000 square feet in Iowa and 40,000 square feet in Baltimore.

Ken Boone, President of Tidewater Direct LLC, noted that the additional space allows American Direct to operate more efficiently as it is no longer dependent on outside storage.

“We now have the space to stagger deliveries in order to provide just-in-time delivery to our clients,” says Boone. “By owning the building, we now have complete control of our long-term occupancy expense.”
