Leipzig, Germany – IFRA, 17 October 2005 – Agfa announced today the availability of :Arkitex IntellTrack, an enterprise-wide tracking system that automatically acquires audit data at every point in the production workflow. :Arkitex IntellTrack eliminates the time consuming task of manual monitoring and tracking of production processes. :Arkitex IntellTrack is based on ProImage technology. ProImage, which Agfa acquired last year, is a leading developer of browser-based digital workflow solutions for newspapers. The system uses "intelligent tracking agents" (software modules) that have been inserted at key points along the route of production to effectively monitor files, folders and events. :Arkitex IntellTrack provides a logical picture of the entire production process giving users valuable data for process control. :Arkitex IntellTrack integrates easily with Agfa's :Arkitex workflow systems for maximum efficiency.
