Stora Enso LumiSil swatchbooks make debut at Labelexpo Europe trade fair

Press release from the issuing company

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Stora Enso’s Global Speciality Papers business area will introduce new sales tools that promote the innovative features and benefits of its speciality paper grades. Three new swatchbooks for the LumiSil family of release liner base paper products will be officially introduced at the Labelexpo Europe trade fair in Brussels, September 21-24. “We developed this swatchbook set to graphically portray the depth and variety of our entire LumiSil family of release liner base papers,” says David Diekelman, business development manager, Global Speciality Papers. “The new swatchbooks take a more targeted approach by separating LumiSil grades into three primary categories based on the best-suited applications and then focusing on the specific benefits for those applications.” The new LumiSil swatchbooks are available in the following grade categories: •Lightweight, targeted to roll label and roll-to-sheet label converters, and die-cutting applications for film and paper face stocks. Features 60 gsm to 86 gsm basis weights. •Heavyweight, aimed at graphic arts and film applications requiring rigid substrates; rugged industrial applications demanding smooth, lay-flat base sheets; and applications requiring excellent back split properties and a high internal bond for masking and weeding. Features 104 gsm to 223 gsm basis weights. •Office & Stamp, focused on sheeted pressure-sensitive applications; demanding postage stamp applications; and rugged industrial applications demanding smooth, lay-flat base sheets. Features 49 gsm to 98 gsm basis weights. “The respective swatchbook themes of ‘Let loose,’ ‘Take off’ and ‘Let go’ are designed to compel potential customers to learn more about LumiSil as an excellent alternative to traditional glassine release liner base papers,” says Diekelman. The new LumiSil swatchbooks can be ordered by calling Stora Enso Speciality Papers Group at 715-345-8060 or by contacting Tim Lipke at [email protected].
