Press release from the issuing company
Mitsubishi Imaging, (MPM) Inc. introduces its new chemistry free film replacement. The new Diamond Jet Recording Film is an inkjet transparency film with high density that is capable of high contrast and linear output. It is perfect for screen-printing and digital separations where film output is still required.
Diamond Jet Recording Film takes advantage of Mitsubishi’s industry leading microporous technology. Its low ink usage and short drying time make it an economical and easy to use replacement for graphic arts film. Diamond Jet Recording Film will work in most inkjet printers using either dye or pigmented inks.
Due to its high-density capability, Diamond Jet Recording film is an economical film replacement that offers excellent sharpness. It is available in a variety of widths from 17” up to 42”.
“Combined with the continuous advances in the quality and resolution of inkjet technology,” said Lee Ornati, Manager, New Products. “Diamond Jet Recording Film provides film users with a chemistry free alternative to their existing film processing systems.”
