Impostrip V8.1 fully supports the new Tiger version of Mac OS X operating system, Adobe Acrobat 7, and new workflow options.
•Impostrip users can now take advantage of the over 200 new features in the Tiger version of Mac OS X.
•Impostrip supports native imposition of PDF files from Acrobat 7.
•Impostrip is optimized for HP Indigo presses offering users the ability to create new templates in the HP .imp proprietary format for use with the HP-YTD variable data printing system.
•Impostrip supports ganged jobs for Agfa’s Apogee workflow system.
•Impostrip imports ganged templates from Preps.
•Impostrip supports a DCS workflow, where the low resolution of a DCS job is displayed on screen and is used for quick output to proofers and the high resolution DCS is only output to the CtP.
•Impostrip adds support for DCS preview files from Polkadots workflow.
•Impostrip improves support for filtering Quark 6.5, InDesign CS, and other publishing applications.
These new features and enhancements are added to the industry’s only client/server imposition software that supports Dynamic Templates and Marks. Impostrip is available in multi-client version and as a single client version. Inter-platform compatibility lets clients work on the platform of choice: Client or Server can be on a Macintosh or Windows machine.
