SOUTHFIELD, Michigan, August 10, 2005 – Today, Innovative Media Strategies, LLC (IMS), announced the opening of new operations offices in Southfield, Michigan. “We are excited about formalizing our commitment to the book industry with a strategic operational presence in a critical location for our business. We feel it’s an important statement to our customers and partners," said Stephen Thomas, Vice President – Publishing Solutions. “Our new offices also put us closer to New York and the Eastern seaboard which, of course, has a large concentration of publishers," added Thomas. The Southfield office is also home to IMS Research and Development for workflow technologies and the company’s Project Management team. IMS Sales, Publishing Solutions and Business Development will remain in the San Francisco Bay Area. “The company expects to develop sales professionals in other strategic locations during the next 12 months," added Kevin O’Donnell, Vice President - Sales & Marketing.
