BOWE BELL + HOWELL Open House

Press release from the issuing company

(Bethlehem, Pa., Aug. 18, 2005…) BÖWE BELL + HOWELL's Open House event at their Bethlehem, Pa., facility on Aug. 10 attracted customers from around the country and the attention of local media. This facility reconditions document processing equipment, helping customers extend the life of their hardware and protect their capital investments. Although the facility opened in December 2004, this was the first time the doors were opened to groups of customers and the press. Attendees enjoyed a facility tour highlighted by seeing firsthand how equipment fresh from the field is refurbished by highly trained BÖWE BELL + HOWELL technicians. The customers, some of whom had traveled from California and Texas for the event, enjoyed interacting with the technicians and BÖWE BELL + HOWELL executives. “I was impressed by the years of experience the employees had who worked on this equipment,” said Bill Gaddy of ADP. “The people I talked to were very proud of the work they were doing.” As part of its Product Reconditioning Services, BÖWE BELL + HOWELL's technicians use only the highest quality replacement parts to help restore equipment to “like-new” operating levels. This service restores productivity, extends the life of the customer's document processing machinery, and also lowers maintenance costs, service calls and equipment downtime. In addition to reconditioning customers' equipment to meet product specifications, BÖWE BELL + HOWELL offers reconditioned machines for purchase. For companies looking for a value alternative, BÖWE BELL + HOWELL can locate, upgrade and configure a reconditioned machine to meet most requirements. “During the Open House, we received incredible feedback from our customers over the detailed processes we follow with every reconditioned product,” said Business Solutions Manager Bryan Frack. “Our team showcased the quality, value and flexibility we provide. This service helps position our customers for growth and strengthens BÖWE BELL + HOWELL's partnership with them.” Not only did customers appreciate this behind-the-scenes peek at BÖWE BELL + HOWELL's reconditioning operation, so did the local press. Two newspapers, The Express-Times and Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal, covered the event.
