The Hennegan Company Acheives Multiple Honors In Premier Print Awards And Gold Ink Awards

FLORENCE, KY, August 1, 2005 - Robert Ott, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of The Hennegan Company, announced today that the company, a leading provider of ultra-fine printing in the US is a prime winner in both the 2005 Premier Print Awards competition, sponsored by The Printing Industries of America (PIA) and GATF; and The Gold Ink Awards, sponsored by North American Publishing. Mr. Ott commented: “Although we are regularly recognized for the beautiful work that we produce, we always value and are very proud to have our customer’s creativity showcased. The 81 awards we won cumulatively from these two competitions is a clear acknowledgment of the craft, technology and commitment we apply to every design that comes through our doors.” The Hennegan Company won in their core business categories of “Annual Reports”, “Consumer Catalogs, Web”, “Brochures, Web”, “Brochures, Sheetfed”, and “Direct Mail Packages”. Three Gold Level Gold Ink Awards were awarded for the Neiman Marcus 2004 Annual Report, a catalog promoting the Ford F-150, and a “Fun Ship Photo Book” for Carnival Cruise Lines. A special PIA “Best of Category” award, known as a “Benny”, (in honor of Ben Franklin, the first commercial printer in America), was awarded to the company for the “Harley-Davidson 2005 Prestige Book”. In addition to these most recent award recognitions, The Hennegan Company has also won awards this year in competitions sponsored by Mohawk Paper, Sappi Paper, International Paper, and a special “Best of Show” award by PIA of Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
